What is Promo?

Typical promos are seasonal sales (Black Friday, Halloween), reduced first-month prices, extra free days on a trial, bonus credits or higher commissions for affiliates for a few weeks. Some programs also run affiliate contests with prizes for the best performers.

For affiliates a promo is an easy reason to contact the audience again: a real deadline and a better price usually lift the conversion rate. Always check the dates and whether the promo works with your existing affiliate links or needs a new link or code.
